}Frequently asked questions
What counts as a "disposable" domain?
A domain built to be used once and thrown away — temp-mail services, 10-minute inboxes, and similar. These are a genuinely different category from a free provider (Gmail, Yahoo): a free-provider address is a real, permanent inbox someone actually uses.
Where does the classification come from?
Primarily MarketXY's own crawled data (actes2025's z7 field). When the crawl has no answer yet, a fallback checks the open-source disposable-email-domains package (121,570 real entries) — the fallback never overrides a real crawled classification, it only fills a gap.
Should I block every disposable signup outright?
That's your call — most customers use this as a strong fraud/spam signal (block, flag for review, or require extra verification) rather than a universal hard block, since a small number of legitimate users do use temp-mail for privacy reasons.
